Streetscapes Program
Clean, Green, Beautiful is proud to launch the 2026 Streetscapes Program, an annual initiative celebrating the outstanding lawns, gardens, landscapes, and storefronts that help make North Bay a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful community. The program recognizes properties that demonstrate exceptional beautification, environmental responsibility, and civic pride.
Nominations for the 2026 Streetscapes season are now officially open!
Residents, businesses, and community members are encouraged to nominate properties that showcase exceptional beautification, environmental stewardship, and pride in our community.
This year, Streetscapes is proudly sponsored by Miracle-Gro as North Bay was selected as a winner in the 2026 Miracle-Gro Best Garden Selection Program. Scotts Canada is supporting the program by providing 12 “Best Garden” signs along with Miracle-Gro® gift packages for selected winners.​ Each Streetscapes category recognizes outstanding properties through a “Best Garden” distinction, with prizes awarded to the top three entries in each category.

The 2026 Awards Ceremony will be held at Laporte's Nursery & Greenhouses in August.
Nomination Categories
Overall Curb Appeal (Wow Factor!)
Beautifully designed yards that enhance neighborhood appeal.​
Criteria:
• Visual impact / “wow” factor
• Design and layout (balance, flow, use of space)
• Plant health and maintenance
• Cleanliness and upkeep of property (walkways, edging, etc.)
• Seasonal interest or creativity
Therapeutic Garden
A garden designed to create a peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable space that supports well-being and connection with nature.
Criteria:
• Creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere
• Uses plants, colors, scents, or sounds to encourage relaxation
• Includes comfortable and accessible features such as paths or seating
• Personal touches or unique features that add character and enhance the space's therapeutic feel
